Ganjam Law College was established in the Academic Year 1983-1984 under the Provisions of Society Registration Act, 1860 founded at the initiation of the Founder and Chairman, Late Dr. NaliniKantaSamanta, LL.M, Ph.D. At present Dr. Saroj Kumar Samanta, MBA, LL.M., Ph.D. (Law) has taken the responsibility as the Secretary of Ganjam Law College. The college is affiliated to Madhusudan Law University, approved by Bar Council of India and recognized by Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Odisha.

The college is offering 3 Year LL.B. Course. The Ganjam Law College is presently offering 3 Year LL.B. course. The Two Year LL.M. Post Graduate Degree course is proposed to start from the academic year 2023-2024.

The Ganjam Law College is having its own three storied building with well – equipped library, Moot Court Hall, Conference Hall, well-furnished class rooms. The College is having required number of qualified & experienced teaching and Non-teaching staffs.
